What if it doesn’t work for me?
The 30-minute discovery call happens before any invoice. If after the call, the service isn’t the right fit for your work, you walk away. You owe nothing.
Three-tier refund
You can withdraw at any point before publication. Your refund depends on how much editorial work has already happened.
You keep your work. In all cases, you retain your draft and any reusable material.
FAQ
01Is this peer-reviewed?+
Yes. Every CKP undergoes double-blind peer review by an external reviewer, coordinated by the ScienceReach editorial team. The standard is rigour and clarity — not credentials or institutional affiliation.
02How long is a CKP?+
Approximately 7 to 9 pages. The six sections are: introduction, background and challenges, affected community, programs and initiatives, author’s note, and references.
03Can my community organization be the named author?+
Yes. CKPs can be authored by individuals, by organizations, or by co-author teams.
04I am a Micro-Exp alum. Can I publish a second CKP through this service?+
Yes — and we will fast-track the conversation. Mention your cohort when you email.
05I do not have an academic background. Will my CKP be taken seriously?+
A CKP is expressly a publication for community knowledge — knowledge that comes from practice, lived experience, and service delivery. The editorial process makes the work credible regardless of the author’s credentials.
06Do you ghostwrite?+
No. We provide editorial support (structure, fact-checking, plain-language sharpening), but the author writes the work. However, you can sponsor students to author a community knowledge publication.
07Can I withdraw after submission?+
Yes, at any point before publication. Our refund policy mirrors the Micro-Exp Internship’s three-tier structure:
- Before any review work begins: full refund of the $700, minus a $50 administrative fee.
- After we have returned editorial feedback on your draft: 50% of the $700 is refundable, minus the $50 administrative fee.
- After the external peer reviewer has been engaged: non-refundable.
In all cases you keep your draft and any reusable material.
08Where will people find my CKP after publication?+
Every CKP is public on ScienceReach with a stable URL and a citation block. We are actively building toward formal indexing with academic discovery systems as the catalogue grows.
Tell us about the community issue you want to publish on.
We’ll reply within two business days to schedule a free 30-minute discovery call. There is no commitment at this stage — the $700 fee is only invoiced after the call confirms scope.
